YOUR SPIRITUAL POSITION IN GOD’S KINGDOM.
(Justification)
TO UNDERSTAND YOUR POSITION, YOU MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND THE PRESENT POSITION OF JESUS.
AFTER HE HAD PAID FOR THE SINS OF MANKIND ON THE CROSS HE SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER IN HEAVEN.
Heb 10:12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God
WHEN YOU GAVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS, YOU TOO WERE LEGALLY RAISED TO SIT IN THE HEAVENLIES IN CHRIST JESUS, THOUGH YOU ARE STILL LIVING IN YOUR BODY DOWN BELOW IN THIS WORLD.
Eph 2:6 and has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
THE FATHER NOW SEES YOU AS PERFECT AS HIS SON, JESUS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN WASHED BY THE BLOOD OF HIS SON, AND MADE NEW IN YOUR HEART BY THE INDWELLING OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT.
Tit 3:4-7 But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
THE MOMENT YOU DIE, YOUR SPIRIT WILL BE CARRIED AWAY TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH THE JESUS YOUR SAVIOUR.
THIS IS WHAT JESUS PROMISED TO THE ROBBER WHO GOT SAVED WHILE HANGING ON A CROSS NEXT TO HIM.
Luk 23:42,43 And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.
YOUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION WHILE STILL LIVING DOWN BELOW ON EARTH.
(Sanctification)
MY STANDING BEFORE GOD IS IN HIS HANDS AND IS A LEGAL POSITION THAT I HOLD; IT IS PERFECT DAY AND NIGHT.
MY SPIRITUAL STATE, HOWEVER, IS IN MY OWN HANDS AND IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING;
WHEN I SURRENDER TO MY OLD SINFUL NATURE IN WORDS AND DEEDS, I PORTRAIT THE IMAGE OF MY OLD LIFE BEFORE I WAS BORN AGAIN.
Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revelings, and things like these; … . (Gal 5:19-21).
HOWEVER, WHEN I SUBMIT TO THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO NOW LIVES IN ME, MY WORDS AND ACTIONS WILL BE THE SAME AS THAT OF MY HEAVENLY FATHER’S HOLY SON, JESUS CHRIST.
But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Gal 5:22, 23).
TO THE EXTENT I SURRENDER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, OTHERS WILL SEE JESUS IN ME.
GOD EXPECTS ME TO DAILY CHANGE MORE AND MORE INTO THE LIKENESS OF HIS SON.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. (Php 2:12,13)
But we all, with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit. (2Co 3:18).
MY AIM IN THIS NEW LIFE IS TO DAILY THINK, SPEAK AND DO LIKE JESUS.
IN SO DOING, MY SPIRITUAL CONDITION WILL GRADUALLY CHANGE TOWARDS BEING THE SAME AS MY SPIRITUAL POSITION.
BY LIVING THIS HOLY LIFE IN CHRIST I WILL ALSO LAY UP TREASURES FOR MYSELF IN HEAVEN.
But lay up treasures in Heaven for yourselves, where neither moth nor rust corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. (Mat 6:20).
MAY OUR LORD, BY HIS SPIRIT, ENLIGHTEN YOUR MIND TO UNDERSTAND THIS TEACHING AND EMPOWER YOU TO HEARTILY WALK AND ENJOY THIS NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.
